Warranty
you can count on.

Last updated June 1, 2026Applies to aftermark.net, coldrider.com, fuelpumper.com

All products sold by AfterMark LLC carry the manufacturer's warranty as provided. We pass through those warranties in full and handle the claims process on your behalf — so you deal with us, not the factory.

Have a defective part? Log into your account at the on line store and follow the prompts. You'll need your order number. Then follow the prompts. You can also contact us with your order number and we'll get you a resolution within one business day.

01 — Overview

How our warranty works

Warranty periods and coverage terms vary by product category. The table in the next section summarizes coverage by category.

Warranty claims result in one of three resolutions, at our discretion based on stock availability and the nature of the defect:

Replacement

A new unit of the same part number is shipped to you at no charge, typically within one business day of claim approval.

Credit

A full credit for the purchase price of the defective part is applied to your account for use on a future order.

Refund

In cases where a replacement is unavailable and a credit is not preferred, a refund to the original payment method is issued.

Factory return

On certain high-value or technically complex items, we may route the part back to the manufacturer for evaluation before issuing a resolution.

02 — Coverage by category

What's covered and for how long

Warranty periods run from the date of original purchase. Coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation.

Not sure about your part? Contact us with your part number and purchase date — we'll confirm the applicable warranty period and coverage before you submit a claim.

03 — What voids the warranty

Conditions that disqualify a claim

A warranty claim will be denied if the defect is found to result from any of the following conditions. When in doubt, contact us before installing — we're happy to confirm correct application before you start.

Improper installation. Parts installed incorrectly, with wrong torque specs, incompatible fittings, or contrary to included instructions are not covered.

Use outside rated specifications. Operating a part beyond its rated voltage, pressure, temperature, or fuel compatibility range voids coverage.

Physical modification. Any alteration, drilling, grinding, or disassembly of the part beyond what is explicitly permitted in the product documentation.

Accident, abuse, or neglect. Damage caused by collision, contamination, flooding, fire, or failure to perform required maintenance is not a warranty defect.

Incorrect application. Installing a part in a vehicle, engine, or system it was not specified for — even if it physically fits — is not covered.

Missing or altered identification. Parts with removed, defaced, or altered serial numbers or date codes cannot be validated for warranty coverage.

04 — Filing a claim

How to submit a warranty claim

The quickest and easiest way is through your account at our on line store. Most claims are resolved within two business days of receiving the defective part.

1

Gather your information

You'll need your order number or invoice, the part number, the ColdRider warranty number, a description of the defect, and the date the part was installed or put into service.

2

Contact warranty support

Again, the quickest process in through the on line store. You can also reach us by phone or through the contact form on this site. Include photos of the defect if possible — this speeds up evaluation significantly.

3

Receive a warranty authorization number

Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we'll issue a Warranty Authorization (WA) number. Do not send the part back without one.

4

Return the defective part

Ship the defective part to us with the WA number clearly marked on the outside of the package. We cover return freight on approved warranty claims.

5

Resolution issued

Upon receipt and inspection, we'll ship a replacement, apply a credit, or issue a refund — typically within two business days.

Pre-approval required. Parts returned without a Warranty Authorization number will be refused and returned to sender at the sender's expense.

05 — Exclusions

What warranty does not cover

Even within the warranty period, the following are not covered under any circumstances:

Normal wear and degradation

Gradual wear, surface oxidation, seal hardening, and other age-related changes that occur during normal service life are not defects.

Contaminated fuel or fluid damage

Damage caused by dirty, contaminated, or incorrect fuel, coolant, or fluid is not covered under warranty.

Diagnostic and removal costs

Costs associated with diagnosing a defect, removing an installed part, or preparing a warranty return are not reimbursable.

Parts purchased elsewhere

Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from AfterMark LLC or one of our authorized distribution partners.

06 — Labor & consequential costs

What we don't reimburse

Our warranty covers the part. It does not cover the cost of labor to install or remove it, vehicle downtime, lost revenue, towing, rental vehicles, or any other incidental or consequential costs — regardless of whether the defect was confirmed.

This limitation is standard across the aftermarket distribution industry and is consistent with the manufacturer warranties we pass through. If you need coverage for consequential losses, we recommend confirming that your customer's fleet or vehicle insurance policy includes that protection.

Installation tip. Before installing any part on a vehicle that is difficult or costly to access, contact us to verify the part is correct for the application. A quick call before installation is much easier than a warranty claim after.
